Musings, leadership tidbits and quotes posted by a retired Navy Captain (really just a high performing 2nd Class Petty Officer) who hung up his uniform a bit too early. He still wears his Navy service on his sleeve. He needs to get over that. "ADVANCE WARNING - NO ORIGINAL THOUGHT!" A "self-appointed" lead EVANGELIST for the "cryptologic community". My recent self diagnosis
I have an ongoing need for self-improvement. Baby steps.
I remain a "work in progress".

Captain Lambert,
This is true of all of us, whether we would admit that fact or not, none of us were born leaders, this is a thing that we must be taught, and be continuously contemplated upon to achieve the result that has to be instilled in the individual to do those things that are of the proper value to their country, their fellow individuals and to themselves. These are not easily granted steps as you implied, baby steps are a good definition, but if one continues to advance those steps over time they can have a great effect on those persons that they have under their supervision. And to their Nation overall.
