Sailor - with a capital "S"
1-16. Identifying Navy and Marine Corps Personnel . . . Capitalize "Sailor" and "Marine" when referring to members of the U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps.
Captain Lambert, I have been doing this for 50 years and felt that since the Navy always told me that Sailors were the most important thing about the Navy, it was a logical thing to do. Very Respectfully, Navyman834
