I am glad the USAF knows where it is on confronting the issue. And I am glad I joined the Navy.
I don't know about the current CNO, but the previous....oh, four or five could not tell you what an IP address was either, and made mulitple decisions in the "IW", "IO" "Cyber" arena just the same. As least this general admits it.
Also... what's with that uniform? Is it a requirement that before you become a service chief you have to have your sense of decorum replaced by a Hollywood costume makers sense of style. He looks Professor Harold Hill.
My goodness. There are some things that you don't say in public (even when they are true). This is especially the case if you are wearing stars. Being clueless in a core warfare area falls into that category ... On the other hand, is that what we want them to think. hmmmmm
That is the gayest uniform I've ever seen. His ignorance is most profound and unprofessional. He is a peer (age) of mine and yet I studied computer science in college in 1980 even as an undergrad EE major in the Air Force ROTC. What in the world is his excuse for being so ignorant? He doesn't own/operate a home computer? He doesn't have a network connection anywhere ever in his past? He cannot read? I won't accept that the USAF kept him so busy with its relentless demands on his time that he failed to find time in his busy schedule to begin to comprehend the 20th century, much less the 21st.

You could replace "Air Force" with Navy, Army, USMC, USCG, or DoD and still have an accurate statement.
And who really cares about his uniform?
