Great News For Officers Who Conserve Energy

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus said promotion boards will consider an officer’s energy management when deciding whether to move him up.

This is exceptional news for some officers.  I've heard there are some in the Navy who are not expending any energy at all.

Interesting considering the fact that flight hours and steaming days are cut to the bone. One ship that I know of had only 52 steaming days scheduled for this year.

I feel like saying something mean and inappropriate so I'll leave it there.

One waits for the clueless to order the setting of all plain sail on departure from port and shutting down the engines. "We'll get there when we get there."

Morons!

Captain Lambert,

It is unfortunate indeed that the qualifications for commissioned advancement have been lowered to a point this low.

Very Respectfully,
