Musings, leadership tidbits and quotes posted by a retired Navy Captain (really just a high performing 2nd Class Petty Officer) who hung up his uniform a bit too early. He still wears his Navy service on his sleeve. He needs to get over that. "ADVANCE WARNING - NO ORIGINAL THOUGHT!" A "self-appointed" lead EVANGELIST for the "cryptologic community". Food for thought
"There are three deaths. The first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave. The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your name is spoken for the last time."
All things will pass: wealth, beauty, possessions, career success; the thing that remains is the memory of you, as evidenced by your past actions.
Will the evidence of your existence on this world cease almost immediately with your death, or will you be significant and linger on the lips of many?
