Musings, leadership tidbits and quotes posted by a retired Navy Captain (really just a high performing 2nd Class Petty Officer) who hung up his uniform a bit too early. He still wears his Navy service on his sleeve. He needs to get over that. "ADVANCE WARNING - NO ORIGINAL THOUGHT!" A "self-appointed" lead EVANGELIST for the "cryptologic community". SECDEF Carter rewiring the Pentagon in a wireless world
NOW, for the love of God and all that is holy, can FCC/C10F publish their strategy. We have been waiting for it since November. It is likely to be not worth waiting for.
"As always, our women and men – both uniformed and civilian personnel – will be our greatest and most enduring strength and a constant source of inspiration."
It is on their backs that we will carry this out - under resourced and under prioritized.
I think it is good C10F/FCC held off publishing their strategy until this came out. It allows FCC/C10F to ensure their strategy is nested within the higher level DOD strategy. Had C10F/FCC published their strategy first and it did not align with this strategy that would not go over well and would look bad for the Navy.
