Indifference

Do your meetings have purpose?  What decisions are made? What actions are required?

We armor ourselves against the cutting remark, the ad hominem attack, the person who just doesn't like our stuff.

But all of this is the feedback we get when we touch a nerve and are doing work that matters enough to care about.

No, the worst sort of feedback is no feedback at all - indifference.

Ironic, isn't it? No comments.

The indifference is killing me.

Captain Lambert,

There are times that I am unable, unqualified, or uncommitted enough to give an appropriate response to some of your posts. But I do read and try to comprehend everything that is posted along with all the comments regardless of how ridiculous they may sound when read aloud. As much as I may try, I fail to get any real meaning from multiple one or two word sentences and I do not believe that attitude has anything to do with indifference.

Very Respectfully,

Attitude has everything to do with indifference.
