Where are we headed?
NAVIDFOR will have their Commanders' Conference is a couple of weeks. Things will be more clear then.
"The Information Dominance Corps is indispensable to the Navy's successful implementation and execution of Information Dominance as a warfare discipline."
That sounds like a self-licking ice cream to me.
Imagine - "Aviators are indispensable to the Navy's successful implementation and execution of aviation as a warfare discipline."
The IDC does not come close to dominating information. They are not even good at information dissemination.
