Mike, you are so correct!
At the high school where I work we have subject-conferences every other week where we share great ideas, material, lesson plans, and other good things with each other. This way we do not have to invent the wheel twice and also we source inspiration from each other. This benefit us all; students, teachers, and the quality of education.
