Musings, leadership tidbits and quotes posted by a retired Navy Captain (really just a high performing 2nd Class Petty Officer) who hung up his uniform a bit too early. He still wears his Navy service on his sleeve. He needs to get over that. "ADVANCE WARNING - NO ORIGINAL THOUGHT!" A "self-appointed" lead EVANGELIST for the "cryptologic community". Keeping CRYPTOLOGY alive-one day and Sailor at a time. 2015 is 80th Anniversary of the Naval Security Group.
If there is any leadership left in the services, it probably is not currently well represented in the higher ranks of the Army. Having been an Army brat, that sickens me and breaks my heart. If the Navy suffers a similar lack, it certainly isn't because no one's teaching how to become a good leader, how to practice good leadership -- how to develop integrity. You are doing those things, and you may be one of the very few who is. I salute you. You make me proud again, and give me hope for the future of our Navy, at least -- and maybe the future of our country, too.
Thank YOU Mike! Looking forward to 2014.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike, for all you do!
