In the battle of ideas
One of my Shipmates shared this philosophy that his boss has on his desk.
Small Idea = Small Problem Big Idea = Big Problem No Idea = No Problem
I think the gist of it is that he wasn't interested in anyone's ideas.

or was it just commentary about the loathsome 'good idea fairy' who flies in and sprinkles advice on the better way to do something that they have no role in or intention of assisting 'to fix'.
