Captain Gary Edwards will be relieved as Commanding Officer of CID Corry Station by Captain Susan K. Cerovsky at a ceremony at the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida today, Friday the 14th of October.
Musings, leadership tidbits and quotes posted by a retired Navy Captain (really just a high performing 2nd Class Petty Officer) who hung up his uniform a bit too early. He still wears his Navy service on his sleeve. He needs to get over that. "ADVANCE WARNING - NO ORIGINAL THOUGHT!" A "self-appointed" lead EVANGELIST for the "cryptologic community". Where will CAPT Edwards be report next?
Fleet Cyber Command/TENTH Fleet is what I have been told.
Can someone please explain to Corry Station's neighboring communities why we have to listen to motorcycles roaring around in circles hour after hour after endless hour?
There is an area on the west side of Corry, behind the hospital, that is apparently devoted to making noise. There are times when we can't even sit on our back deck the racket is so obnoxious. If this lack of courtesy toward the community somehow supports the Station's basic mission (are we planning to invade other countries on motorcycles as a cost cutting measure, maybe preparing for joint maneuvers with the Shriners?) we'd be fascinated to know how.
